Duties

We expect each board member to:
• Understand and abide by the organizationʼs, policies, programs, and needs.
• Read and understand the organizationʼs financial statements and board materials in
advance of meetings.
• Prepare for, attend, and conscientiously participate in board meetings

Open to learning opportunities to better understand the community our
organization serves.
• Respect the experiences of all who bring their voices and lived experiences on to the
board and into the boardroom and the organization.

Ensure balance of rent geared to income housing (Housing Services Act) and affordable housing are being maintained by property management.
Benefits play an active role in strengthening individuals, families, neighbourhoods, 
and communities, while working towards our mission to provide quality, affordable homes, and rent geared to income housing.
Clients lower income individuals and families in non profit housing
