Duties

Under adult supervision 2-4 hours per week, mowing greens, cleaning equipment, weeding, shop clean up, other small maintenance activities as required.

Providing assistance to special groups attending the club, such as library night, Cystic Fibrosis "Lawn Summer Nights" event.

Volunteering at the club is a win-win for students and the club. Students gain experience, training and they free up some of the club members who usually provide numerous hours of greens maintenance every season. 

Time off:

The club provides back-up/filing-in for students who are away for valid reasons, such as family vacation, illness, etc. Please keep the coordinator fully informed of absences in a timely manner.

Benefits Free lawn bowling to student helpers. 
Have opportunity to learn how to run greens' maintenance equipment; how to schedule their time, learn responsibility to show up on time or take ownership to advise coordinator if can't attend as scheduled.
Clients Volunteer will interact with lawn bowling club members who are volunteering their time to mow greens and other activities and with potential lawn bowling incoming groups, from library event, CF Fund Raising event, tournaments. Also a supervisor with a police check/vulnerable screening will be on site.
